Getting blocked from Signing In
The below set of instructions are made for how to discern why you are blocked from your M365 account.
There are multiple reasons this could be happening.
1. Are you traveling outside the US?
We have policies in place to block access from outside the US. Please contact us and inform us of the dates you are out of the country to exclude you from the policy.
2. I cannot get into my account; I forgot my password.
The majority of our managed tenants have Self Service Password Reset enabled. If Self Service Password Reset is not enabled you can call in and ask to have your password reset, we can then get a verified contact to approve the change.
Go to office.com and try to sign in there and click the option “I forgot my Password”. It will prompt you to reset your password after authenticating who you are.
3. I am inside the US but am still blocked?
Microsoft sees your device as a new device and as unusual travel, it might block your access. If it does, please try signing in again, if it does not allow access please call us.
4. Contact us for any questions you have regarding being blocked. We can either exclude you from the policies or figure out the root of your blocking.
