Protect your mail server from outside threats with ISOCNET’s premium Barracuda email filtering system as your first line of defense. Let us filter all of your incoming emails, mitigating your risk and minimizing the load on your current email server. Your administrator will have the capability to easily manage users, adjust filtering settings, and monitor the email logs to ensure you receive the email you want.

Add our email filtering solutions to any Microsoft 365 account to minimize spam, phishing emails, and malware. Our filters are constantly updating signatures and learning. The blacklist stops mail from being delivered from known spamming sites. The system also keep track of known URL’s that are used for users to download malware and viruses. We stop those URL’s emails and links from being sent.

Worried About Losing Mail?

No system is perfect and legitimate email can get flagged at times. The great thing about our system is you can look through all the logs to find the message. Any messages that hit the server are stored locally for the last 7 days. So, you can deliver the message, with the exception of an included virus. Then, you can add an email address or domain to a trusted list, so you can receive future emails.

We Make Set Up Easy.

ISOCNET will take care of setting up all of your users. We collaborate on the policies you want to enforce. We work with you to define the thresholds for your organization. You can choose to block highly suspicious mail to not clutter your inbox. You may choose to add a tag to certain messages, i.e. #Suspected Spam, to be reviewed at the users convenience for low level spam. Or quarantine those midlevel suspicious emails to be reviewed daily and released or ignored. We import your trusted and blocked list for each user or the entire domain. We can add a connector to a Microsoft 365 account, which makes adding the filtering onto an existing tenant simple.

Empowered Administration

For IT Managers, we give you the role of managing your organizations settings and configurations. This allows your in-house team to easily troubleshoot email delivery. They can add trusted and blocked list to users or the entire domain and support everyone’s quarantine. Too much going to quarantine? You have the tools to modify the thresholds. The Dashboard gives you a visual representation and full report of how much mail is being blocked, quarantined, tagged as spam, and delivered.

One of our email addresses got compromised. A client contacted us about a phishing email they received from an email close to our domain. The email tried to get our customer to change their ACH Payment to us. ISOCNET (Tommy and Stephen) stepped up and helped with different security measures on our email and stepped up to conf call with our compromised customer to assure them all was safe and secure. All email is delivered to the email filter first. Messages are scanned and then delivered to your inbox, quarantined, blocked, or tagged based on the rules.

The filtering process takes milliseconds. So, while yes, technically it does make another stop before hitting your inbox, it is not enough to notice.

Yes, Microsoft Office 365 does include some levels of email filtering. The Microsoft 365 platform does and depending on your plan, the Advanced Threat Protections gives you even more filtering options. The biggest challenges their filtering has faced, is dealing with phishing emails.

It depends on the threshold of your business. It never hurts to have as many layers of protections as possible. The more filters, the more likely malicious emails will be caught. However, each business has different needs. The longer you have been in business and the larger your organization, the more likely you are to get piles of unwanted mail. So, it depends on how much spam is getting through today, and the tolerance of the organization in handling the unwanted mail.

Yes. Mail filtering is protecting your main communication source. The quarantine email is stored on the Mail Filtering server for 7 days.

You can log into filter.isoc.net, click on quarantine, and release the email. Or, directly from the email report you receive, you can click release and the email will be delivered to your inbox.
