How it Works
You get one application to store all your passwords securely. You can import your passwords in, start adding passwords manually, or add passwords as you log into your different accounts. Each time you login, you use your strong password and multi-factor authentication to open your vault. You can choose to download a browser extension and it will auto fill logins on your computer. It allows you to easily change passwords or add accounts. It will even remind you to update accounts that have weak passwords or are duplicated. Take your passwords with you on your phone with the secure password application. Download it and login. Use added biometrics to open the app.
Why You Need it
Most people fall into 2 categories. You either use weak, easy to remember passwords or have a strong password and reuse it for all your accounts. Both are recipes for disaster. Either hackers will guess those easy passwords or once they have the strong one, they have access to everything.
Weak and Reused Passwords
It is truly not a matter of if, but when. Programs are constantly scanning accounts with advanced software that is guessing passwords. In a brief time, these programs will guess the correct password for those that are 100 or less characters. The longer the password, the longer it will take. When you reuse passwords, all accounts with that same password will be compromised. The password manager helps you support strong unique passwords.

Are passwords still important?
Yes. While there is talk and a push for password less environments, we are not there yet. In fact, not everything out there supports MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). So, we are still going to need to use a password. It is highly recommended to use MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) with your login where you can.
What if I just save my passwords in my browser?
Built in browser password managers are not as safe as a password manager. In fact, there are already known exploits for them, and they are often not encrypted. And for chrome users who synchronize, if a hacker guesses your google login, then all your passwords are compromised.
How often should my passwords be changed?
Despite popular belief, changing your password every 30 or 90 days does not have much effect on your password security. Most compromised credentials are compromised fairly quickly which would mean the damage is done before the next time your password requires to be changed. Also, password expiration policies entice users to create predictable passwords usually changing the number or symbol on the end of the password. Cyber Criminals can then easily guess what the next passwords will be using this information. The Password Manager can help you create an extremely strong password.
What is a strong password?
A strong password is truly random, so it will not be guessed with a dictionary attack. It will have 18 or more characters, so that would take much longer for a computer program to decipher. The best way to get a strong password is to use the password manager’s password generator.
If I use MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication), is my password important?
Just like passwords are hackable, so are most MFA programs. While it does add a layer of security and it is a good thing, it is not full proof.
