Recognizing the digital revolution ahead, we expanded into web development services and upgraded our infrastructure, relocating to the prestigious Federal Reserve Bank Building in downtown Cincinnati.

By the millennium, ISOCNET had earned recognition as one of the top Internet Services and Web Design companies in Greater Cincinnati. As one of the largest Tri-State web development firms, we achieved remarkable growth: 76% increase in commercial accounts, 87% growth in dedicated bandwidth sales, and 100% increase in web development projects.

Strategic Expansion
Scaling for Success
Growth demanded evolution. We expanded from 7 to 12 team members and moved to a spacious 3,500 square foot facility at Turfway Commercial Park in Florence. Our infrastructure grew too, with equipment relocated to the Broadwing building—our main data center and communications hub. Strategic acquisitions of hosting clients from Waltz Business Systems and Insite Metrics broadened our reach.

ISOCNET stayed ahead of the curve by implementing one of the first iterations of Virtualized Private Servers using operating system-level virtualization. We strengthened our market position by acquiring Internet Access Cincinnati (IAC), the Greater Cincinnati area’s original Internet Service Provider, and upgraded to an advanced data center with raised floors and enhanced climate control.

When Cincinnati Bell’s DSL services were deregulated, ending third-party provider access, we faced a pivotal challenge. Despite building the region’s second-largest network (after Fuse/CBT), we successfully transitioned existing clients and refocused our expertise on other innovative service offerings.

Our growth necessitated another move to a 4,000 square foot facility on Chancellor Drive in Crestview Hills, positioning us for continued success.

Our dedication to providing superior service led us to develop proprietary solutions: our own Content Management System and File Manager to streamline client website management. We also became early adopters of Microsoft’s Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS), the precursor to Office 365, testing it internally before offering it to clients.
